Your sauna admission grants you entry to an exclusive world of tranquillity and renewal – inspired by Roman bathing traditions, the beauty of local nature and the Alpine lifestyle. Savour 13 uniquely designed saunas, two steam baths, textile-free panoramic pools, elegant relaxation areas and special infusions available every day. The light-filled atrium with its open staircase links the three architecturally distinctive levels – Romanum, Noricum and Maximum – forming a wellness haven that engages all the senses.
Your sauna ticket also includes automatically access to the thermal bath area, where you can enjoy more wonderfully warm thermal pools.

Level 1 - Romanum: sauna bathing like in ancient Rome.
In the elegant ambience of the Romanum, Roman-inspired bathing culture awaits you – with pure lines, refined materials and spacious relaxation areas. Shaped like bowls reminiscent of ancient vessels, the saunas are set within a landscape of light, stone and glass, opening out to magnificent views of the Carinthian mountains.
Lucius Tepidarium - Warm Room
Named after: Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus (Nero), in whose reign the Nero baths were opened in 62 AD.
Temperature: 40-45° Celsius
Humidity: 50-70 %
Recommended duration:
20-30 minutes
Effect: Particularly gentle and with a very low level of stimulation, ideal for regerneration, activating the immune system, purification.
Titus Sudatorium - Steam Bath
Named after: Titus Flavius Vespasianus. The Titus baths were built immediately adjacent to the Coliseum in Rome.
Temperature: 40-50° Celsius
Humidity: 100 %
Recommended duration:
20-30 minutes
Effect: Especially good for the airways as the steam works as an expectorant, also helps with rheumatic complaints, essential aromas intensify the effect.

Trajanus Laconicum - Finnish Sauna
Named after: Trajanus (Marcus Ulpius Traianus). The Trajanus baths in the centre of Rome were completed in 109 AD.
Temperature: 90-100° Celsius
Humidity: 10-15 %

8-20 minutes
Effect: Exercises and stengthens the cardiovascular system, also has a purifying effect.

Forum Romanum Caldarium - Bio Sauna
Named after: Forum Romanum, the market place in Rome and the centre of the political, economic, cultural, and religious life.
Temperature: 55-60° Celsius
Humidity: 50-60 %

Effect: Strengthens the cardiovascular system, gently relaxes the muscles, gentle radiant heat, has a purifying effect.
Agrippa Caldarium - Bio Sauna
Named after: Agrippa (Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa), a rich general. The construction of the Agrippa baths on the Campus Martinus in Rome began in 25 BC.
Temperature: 55-60° Celsius
Humidity: 50-60 %

Effect: Strengthens the cardiovascular system, gently relaxes the muscles, gentle radiant heat, has a purifying effect.
Caracalla Laconicum - Finnish Sauna
Named after: the Caracalla baths in Rome (Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus) - one of the largest thermal baths ever built. Construction began around 212 AD. The 30,000 m2 was supposed to have accomodated 1,500 people.
Temperature: 90-100° Celsius
Humidity: 10-15 %

Natatio - Outdoor Pool
The Natatio outdoor pool in the sauna area invites you to swim and relax in the fresh air without your swimwear. Three neck jets and the gentle water flow provide soothing massage effects.

Our spacious area with loungers for relaxing and dreaming – with a magnificent view. Whether it's raining, sunny or snowing – here you'll find the perfect setting for dreaming and unwinding.
Solarium
In our solarium booths, you can refresh your tan or get some colour all year round – regardless of the weather.
Level 2 - Noricum: experience Carinthia’s nature – with all your senses.
In the Noricum, wellness, beauty and massage blend harmoniously with the elements of water, forest and rock. Regional highlights, such as the garnet stone sauna, the Speik infusion and the Swiss stone pine massage, make this level a space where the strength of local nature can truly be perceived.
Cembra Laconicum - Finnish Pine Sauna
Named after: pinus cembra (the Swiss Pine), the native pine of the mountains ans the "characteristic tree" of the region. Thrives at 1,600 to 2,300 m above sea level. Swiss pine has been proven to have a beneficial effect on body and mind.
Temperature: 90-100° Celsius
Humidity: 10-15 %

Granatus Caldarium - Granat Stone Sauna
Named after: Granatus (garnet), a mid to deep red semi-precious stone which is to be found in the region. It has been worshipped since ancient times as a sacred stone and is regarded as having "magical" properties. The stone is used to decorate the granatus sauna.
Temperature: 50-60° Celsius
Humidity: 50-60 %

Effect: Circulation, loosening muscles and detoxification through mild heat radiation.
Lapis - Whirlpool
The textile-free Lapis whirlpool invites you to linger with its soothing massage jets and floor whirlpool. The gentle, coloured underwater lighting creates a harmonious ambience for your time-out.
Temperature: 32-34° Celsius
Noricum Relaxation Room
This area covers the entire second level of the sauna area. With a majestic panorama that will amaze you.
Restaurant and Sauna Bar
The restaurant and sauna bar offer culinary delights to suit any taste – from light snacks and coffee and cake breaks to wholesome, seasonal dishes. The focus is clearly on regional products.
Level 3 - Maximum: reach new heights of relaxation.
At the highest point of the sauna area, you'll discover deeper warmth, alpine purity and sweeping views that elevate the experience. Whether in the sauna or in the steam bath – the Maximum unlocks new levels of relaxation accompanied by panoramic views of the Nockberge mountains’ soft contours.
Venus Sudatorium - Steam Bath
Named after: Venus, the goddess of love, erotic desire and beauty.
Temperature: 40-50° Celsius
Humidity: 100 %

Effect: expectorant effect of the steam, helps with diseases of the respiratory tract & with rheumatic conditions, enhanced by the use of aromatic essences.
Cardea Caldarium - Bio Herbal Sauna
Named after: Cardea, the goddess of health and thresholds. Her name is derived from "caro" (door hinge).
Temperature: 55-60° Celsius
Humidity: 50-60 %

Fortuna Laconicum - Finnish Sauna
Named after: Fortuna, the goddess of luck. Many temples in the Roman Empire were dedicated to this goddess.

Neptun Sudatorium Salis - Sole Steam Bath
Named after: Neptune, originally the god of flowing waters. From the 5th century BC, he was regarded as equivaltent to the Greek god Poseidon and became the god of the sea as well.
Temperature: 40-50° Celsius
Humidity: 100 %

Effect: good for the respiratory system thanks ot the sea salt spray and essential extracts (eucalyptus & mint).
Jupiter Caldarium - Infrared Sauna
Named after: Jupiter, the father of the gods. The highest divinity in Rome.
Temperature: 40-50° Celsius
Humidity: 50-60 %
Recommended duration:
20-30 minutes
Effect: Particularly beneficial for the skin, which sweats from the inside out thanks to the energy of infrared heat radiation. Blood circulation is stimulated, and stored toxins and mineral waste products are broken down.
Infinitum - Outdoor Pool
Our textile-free Infinitum panorama pool is one of the highlights of the sauna area, with comfortable water loungers, air jets and atmospheric lighting. It is an eye-catcher that is a favourite among our guests for many reasons.

Cold/Warm Pools
The two treading pools with warm and cold thermal water stimulate circulation and help activate the metabolism. Especially after a sauna session, the alternation between warm and cold provides a pleasantly invigorating feeling and supports muscle relaxation. You will feel refreshed, revitalised and ready for more moments of well-being.
Podium Maximum
Our little ‘jewel’ – probably the most beautiful relaxation area in the sauna landscape. Particularly stylish ambience and impressive panoramic views to the Kaiserburg summit and, during winter, to the ski slopes.
