There are numerous natural snow routes around the skiing area. From the "FIS K70" route to the "Schafalm-Brunnach" route, the officially designated routes allow you to enjoy a safe and attractive ascent. Important information on the topic ski touring on slopes:
Going uphill (on skis, touring skis, snowshoes, etc.) or ski touring on the slopes is prohibited on ALL ski slopes in the skiing area Bad Kleinkirchheim on the basis of the applicable FIS rules. This prohibition applies continuously, both during the day and at night, from November to mid-April.

Event series - Full Moon Skiing Tour evenings

The Bad Kleinkirchheimer Bergbahnen are opening up the Brunnachabfahrt (nr. 27) for ski tour enthusiasts on the full moon evenings:

When? 03 January 2026, 01 February 2026, 03 March 2026
Where? Slope Brunnachabfahrt (Nr. 27)

On the full moon evenings, immediately after regular skiing, the slope area can be used free of charge. Once at the summit, the panorama restaurant "Nock IN" awaits athletes with regional culinary delights. Free use of the slope only permitted on the Brunnachabfahrt - from 4.30pm to 10.00pm!

Ski tour Schafalm

Difficulty level: easy.

This easy ski tour starts to the left of the Gasthof-Hotel Hinteregger in St. Oswald (1,340 m) and leads through the forest up to the Brunnachhöhe (1,970 m) with breathtaking views of the UNESCO Carinthian Nockberge Biosphere Reserve. Before the descent, take a break at the panorama restaurant Nock IN.

Difficulty level: moderate.

The FIS K70 ski tour starts at the sports arena in Bad Kleinkirchheim (1,050 m) and follows the FIS K70 on a steady climb to the Kaiserburg summit (2,055 m). At the top, you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Nockberge mountains and, on a clear day, as far as the Hohe Tauern mountains.

Difficulty level: moderate.

The ski tour starts in St. Oswald (1,319 m) and initially follows the forest road to the hut Falkerschutzhaus and on to the hut Lärchenhütte. It then continues through treeless terrain up to the Falkert summit (2,308 m).

Difficulty level: moderate.

The ski tour starts in St. Oswald (1,319 m) and follows the forest trail via Falkerthaus and Lärchenhütte huts to the tree line, offering fantastic views over the Nockberge landscape. The route continues across open alpine pastures to the Steinnock summit (2,197 m) and back to the starting point along the same route.

Difficulty level: difficult

This challenging ski tour starts in St. Oswald (1,319 m) and initially passes the Falkerthaus and Lärchenhütte huts before reaching the summit of Klomnock (2,331 m) and continuing on to Mallnock (2,226 m). The end point is near Brunnachhöhe, where you can stop for refreshments at the Nock IN panorama restaurant.
