As well as the 15 km Flow Country Trail young riders, beginners and experts can have even more bike-based fun in the Carinthian Nock Mountains on the practice area and bike parcours. Thanks to their central location right by the parking lot at the Kaiserburgbahn station of Bad Kleinkirchheimer Bergbahnen, you can test your skills and improve your agility before hitting the tracks for real. The practice terrain and bike parcours can be used free of charge. However, please note that they are only open during the regular opening hours.
At the beginning of September, the 1000 m² Bike Course opened at the valley station of the Kaiserburgbahn. This consists of two sections and provides the ideal preparation for the Flow Country Trail.
"Training Courses" | for children & beginners
One-metre wide, gravelled circuit with a total length of approx. 120 m. On the course, which features several mobile wooden elements and permanently mounted obstacles, cyclists of all age groups can learn the art of balance and improve their biking agility. The elements are no higher than 40 cm in order to prevent heavy falls. The circuit is even suitable for young children (on a bicycle or scooter)
Pumptrack | for beginners and advanced riders
A pump track is a specially designed mountain bike course. The objective here is to build up speed, without pedalling, using up and down body movements on the bike. The bike trail is about one metre wide and features rollers as well as other elements, such as banked turns and jumps, and can be ridden in both directions. It is suitable for both children and beginners.
