In July 2015, the Bad Kleinkirchheim Bergbahnen were quality-certified and welcomed among the country’s over 50 most renowned cableway companies as one of the “best Austrian summer cable car operators”. This award attests that customers of the Bad Kleinkirchheim Bergbahnen can expect excellent service quality.
The quality label "Beste Österreichische Sommer-Bergbahnen" comprises over 50 renowned cableway companies across Austria, among them Dachstein and Zugspitze, Kitzsteinhorn, Stubaier Gletscher and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Kärnten contributes six mountains to the group: Bad Kleinkirchheim, Gerlitzen Alpe, Goldeck, Katschberg, Nassfeld and Turracher Höhe.
After Schmittenhöhe (Zell am See, Salzburger Land), the Bad Kleinkirchheim Bergbahnen is Austria’s second cable car operator to be awarded the “Kunst & Kultur“ [art & culture] certification, which underlines the remarkable quality of the “nock/art” offer.
nock/art combines the best of two worlds in a wonderful way: Leisurely hiking and experiencing art up close. Six hiking trails take you through the delightful mountain world, four of which are directly accessible using the Bad Kleinkirchheim Bergbahnen. In the midst of nature works of renowned artists provide for optical impulses along the trails. The works were created from regional materials in the past three years; they allow hikers to change perspective and experience the natural landscape of the Nockberge in a new way
nock/art hiking trails meet the desire for leisurely walks near the village on the one hand, but also for the challenge of a hiking tour to one of the surrounding mountain summits on the other. The Bad Kleinkirchheim Bergbahnen take you to the starting points or destinations of four of the six routes. Numerous rest stops along the trails invite hikers to take relaxed breaks; a seamless mobility offer provides for comfortable round trips, and the constant signage system on the mountain helps to ensure orientation along the way.
